Watt Plaza
The Opportunity
Watt acquired the 4.3 acre site, located in the heart of Century City, in 1981.
The Solution
Watt Plaza was developed by Watt Industries and designed by Gin Wong Associates, the buildings are situated the 4.3 – acre site and consist of approximately 900,000 rentable sq. ft. The steel and concrete twin towers were built in 1982 and consist of 23 stories each with 19,000 square foot floor plates. The building has underground parking as well as a ten level adjacent parking structure (7 above ground levels and 3 below ground levels and one level under the foot print of the building). Watt Plaza has an amenity-rich 36,000 square foot retail corridor adjoining the complex on the ground floor and has been a LEED Platinum certified building since 2009.
